The place is beautiful and, the resturant within the yard was really convinient. Everyone including the owners was very friendly and willing to assist.

Beautiful environment, nice hiking trail, kid loved feeding the goats, cheesecake at restaurant is fantastic, unit was comfortable, braai area was pleasant, birds in garden a delight, undercover parking appreciated, WiFi reception good, DStv full package, tea, coffee, sugar and milk stocked, cleaner every day.

Situated close enough to Clarens main town but away from the hustle and bustle! Peaceful and restful with all the attention to detail. Decor was impressive and well stocked kitchen which gave it that homely yet authentic farm stay feel!

The owner (Minda) is so kind and welcoming. The unit was so comfortable and absolutely beatifully decorated. The farm is also beautiful and impeccably maintained. Its very convenient that the Baris Monger (restaurant) is only a few meters away, they serve delicious food! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

Baris is our favourite place to stay in Clarens. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous, with a wood fire, amazing comfy king bed, stunning claw-foot bathtub, and full kitchen. We always appreciate the private braai area to cook up some local produce. The restaurant/cafe on site is so special, serving an INCREDIBLE breakfast and loads of tasty preserves and cheeses. The sheep and goats on the property are always fun to watch, too. Hosts are so lovely and we always feel so welcome. Simply perfect.

Room and surrounding farm is beautiful and comfortable and well equipped for what we needed. Host was really nice and helped us get settled in immediately without any issues.

Attention to detail was wonderful. The room was very comfortable and easy to live in. Everything is well designed and thought out and we were greeted with beautiful flowers inside and outside. There was a Braai with charcoal and firelighters all ready for us to Braai and this made it so easy for us. They also had put out some fresh brownies to welcome us that were yummy. The property is beautiful and we had a wonderful time here. It is a working farm so we were able to walk around the farm and see the goats and sheep and just enjoy the farm. It is a perfect stop and close to Clarens if you want to visit there. On the farm there is a Monger where you can taste the cheese and have a light lunch and coffee while looking over the incredible vegetable/herb/salad garden that provides the fresh toppings for the food they serve. It really is worth a visit. Thank you for a wonderful time.

It was our second stay and hopefully not our last. What a wonderful place with everything you could possibly need. It is set on a very pretty farm and easy to reach Clarens or Bethlehem. Minda is amazing and does everything she can to make you feel at home. We were welcomed with delicious brownies waiting for us in our room and the fire all set up for us to light. They also have Braai meals you can pre-order to cook in your own private Braai complete with a beautifully made Salad and farm bread. Definitely a stop you need to make. Thank you.

Beautiful accommodation, spacious. The host put so much thought into every little detail. Loved the flowers picked from their garden for each chalet. Lovely welcoming brownies. Everything you need and more. Beautiful garden!
