The fine print
There is a late fee for arrivals after 10 PM. If advance notice is provided, alternate arrangements like a lock box can be set up for guests for a CAD $10 fee. If no notice is provided and the office is closed, an administration fee of CAD $30 will be charged to reopen the office and check in the guest. The view is absolutely stunning. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. Good location to explore the Cape Breton Highlands Park.

The location of Cornerstone is perfect in it is located at the entrance to Cape Breton Highlands National Park. The room was clean and spacious and offered everything we needed. The property is managed by the owners who are exceptional; they were friendly and offered so many great recommendations on restaurants, bakery and sites to visit in the area. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very clean room. Staff at the motel were very helpful and friendly. Free coffee and tea were avaiable from the office. Good wifi in the rooms which were spotlessly clean. Great bathroom facilities too.

Loved everything about our stay, only wish we could have stayed longer! Brightly coloured motel, spacious room, beautiful location with nearby hiking trails. Very kind and knowledgeable owner (who checked us in and gave lots of great travel tips).
