We stayed at this hotel in Chur for one night and really liked it. The building is very old and historic, and the furniture is either original or styled in a vintage way, which gives it a special cozy vibe. The hotel is located right in the heart of Altstadt, so you can easily explore everything on foot. It’s also just a 10-minute walk to the train station, making it super convenient. Although the bathroom and toilet are shared, we were pleasantly surprised by how clean and well-maintained they were. There was never any wait to use them, which made the shared setup quite comfortable. The hotel also provides bathrobes and slippers, which added a nice touch of comfort. In the morning, we had breakfast in the cozy restaurant with a nice wooden interior. The staff was really helpful, always ready to assist with anything.

The Dining Room was so clean, quaint and full of character. Unfortunately, I was unable to enjoy an evening meal there but I enjoyed three mornings of very nutritious Breakfasts before going on my way. On the first morning the Chef at the hotel brought a plate to my table that was decorated with the words Happy B-Day. It was such a kind and thoughtful gesture by the Chef that created much happiness in me on my special day.

Very comfortable room for our short stay and having the extra general area between bedroom and bathroom gave the room an open larger feeling. Great views out of windows and close to all shops, etc. Breakfast room was a great large old decorated room with large windows.
