Hotel Overview

Centrally located next to the Botanical Gardens, Canterbury Museum and Hagley Park, Hotel Give boasts a range of accommodation including self-contained apartments, private deluxe rooms and shared-bathroom rooms and dormitory rooms. Guests enjoy 24-hour reception, free Wi-Fi and a cafe.
For an additional charge guests can access conference spaces and laundry facilities. There are also two communal kitchens, and lounge areas to relax in on the first four floors.
Accommodation options include deluxe rooms with private bathrooms and tea/coffee making facilities. Classic rooms offer access to shared bathroom facilities. Apartments have a fully equipped kitchen, balconies and living areas. All rooms (except dorms) have flat screen TVs and wardrobes.

I chose this place because it has parking. It's okay for a short stay -- comfortable bed with high-quality bedding, clean modern bathrooms, good security, great location. My bed had a power point, a reading light and some shelves.

Professional and friendly night shift receptionist. He made sure our group was settled when we arrived. Clean rooms, comfy beds, cozy lounge areas in each level. 9 minute walk to Riverside Market. Also, the restaurant breakfast buffet attendant has good customer service.

Comfortable bed and also the shared bathrooms were as your own ones at home. Shower and toilets were in one room. Close to the city is also a big benefit.
