excellent location, a short walk to the Town Hall and the centre of town, easy to find, secure parking and welcoming hosts. when I arrived at 6pm the lights and heating were already on - after a rainy drive it was appreciated, and chocolates on the bed were a nice touch :-)

Focus Motel is located in a convenient location close to Victoria Street restaurants and a 10 -15 minute walk along the Avon River into the centre of Christchurch. Our room had a separate lounge room and a kitchenette with a good supply of basic cooking equipment.

Very friendly owner/lady on reception who showed us to our room. Spacious and comfortable room with everything we needed. Good night sleep. A great place to stay! Would highly recommend.

I arrived very early and was allowed to park my car in the parking while I was sightseeing in Christchurch. The bed was very comfortable and there was complementary coffee/thee in the room.

Close to town, a bike rental shop, Hagley Gardens, bus stops and eateries. Good security. Very clean. Very helpful with information about Christchurch.

The location was excellent and the staff were very helpful in terms of accommodating a potential late arrival (which didn't eventuate). The unit was very quiet and comfortable Mini chocolate bars were a nice touch. Hagley Park North makes a really nice walk close by as well.

The location is the best feature: within easy and pleasant walking distance to the CBD. Clean and neat. Very comfortable bed. Good quality pots and pans for cooking. Has a small balcony.
