The hosts really make this property, they were so friendly and really accommodating (on Christmas Day!) when we were going to be late arriving for breakfast which we were so grateful for. The room was big with a comfy bed and had a lovely bathroom with a great shower. Would definitely recommend and happily stay again :)

Great location - 5 mins walking distance to different food options, bus stop and petrol station Lovely hosts - made us feel welcome and at home Cosy bedroom and yummy breakfast! They also have a few cats who live here which is really nice for us cat people :) Would love to stay here again when we have the chance

My second stay at Designer Cottage was just a memorable and enjoyable as the first. I had a great stay and enjoyed the breakfast immensely (especially the great company). Would definitely use again when visiting Christchurch!

I had an incredible stay at Designer Cottage! The two hosts were super friendly, the room was very clean, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The location was perfect—not directly in the city, so the streets were wonderfully quiet, yet still well-connected by bus routes. I would definitely come back again!
