123 Motel is located right in the heart of Riccarton. Although it's street location can be quite busy, the rooms have good sound-proofing, so there was almost no traffic noise. The staff were very friendly .. and the rooms were kept very clean. The heating in main room and bathroom was very good .. always a bonus for Christchurch on cold nights/mornings! There is adequate off-street parking and the motel is adjacent to a very large shopping mall and also an easy walk to literally dozens on dine-in/take-out restaurants. Overall, this hotel is fantastic value for money!

Manager extremely helpful. Most Refurbishments to a high standard especially bathroom, kitchen and bedrooms. Quiet in bedrooms despite being on a busy road. Convenient for bus, shops, etc. Shuttle to the TransAlpine rail station a bonus

Great motel, not far from airport & very close to great shopping mall. Clean, comfortable with all I needed for my overnight stay. Would be ideal for a couple.

Good location for the train station and the transalpine express(20minutes walk,turning right out of motel),and food outlets and shopping mall 5-10 mins turn left out of motel up to main road for dinner / breakfast options. Rooms adequate size ,comfy bed ,good shower ,tea/coffee /milk provided, microwave ,hob facilities.
