A 10-minute walk from the ancient market town of Chipping Sodbury, The Bell at Old Sodbury is an 18th-century pub offering free Wi-Fi, stylish bedrooms and traditional food.

The first one overlooks the garden to the rear of the pub and with the window open, you can hear the River Frome that makes its way along the side of the building. The second one has a view over the main road of Box Hedge cottage. The third one has dual aspect sash windows and overlooks the old Colts Green farm. They all have free Wi-Fi, complimentary toiletries, a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities.

Monday: Pub & Restaurant closed all day. B&B check-ins available from 3-6pm. Please contact us if you would like us to make dinner arrangements for you at one of our sister pub/restaurants.
Tuesday – Wednesday: Check-in from 1 - 3pm and 5pm – 9pm. Pub closed from 3-5pm, although check-in can usually be arranged during these times by prior arrangement.
Thursday – Saturday: Pub & Restaurant open all day, with B&B check-ins from 3pm – 9pm. Check-in can usually be earlier by prior arrangement.

The staff were very good & went out of their way to ensure our stay went well. The room was comfy, the bed amazing & lovely big bath towels in the bathroom. The food was exceptional & we couldn’t fault anything. It was very tasty, very well presented & plentiful. There is a comfy seating area by the log burner to sit around afterwards & that was very welcome after the lovely meal. 10/10 👍👍

The rooms are really good, the staff were all very friendly and welcoming and the food is freshly cooked to order and was hot and very tasty, I can’t wait to return next year.

Very good base to tour the southern Cotswolds. Accommodation was very comfortable and breakfast was excellent and plenty of it - kept us going till the evening. Food at the pub was also very good and reasonably priced.

The Bell has easy parking and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are very efficient and always friendly. The breakfast is very good . We also had dinner there and which was excellent. Would definitely stay again.
