The location is fantastic. Room size perfect, free coffee, tea and water. Next door is a nice breakfast place. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel and come back.

Amazing location. So central to shops/restaurants/attractions. Lovely to step out onto the view of the river/city skyline. Very friendly/helpful staff. Great to have water bottles/water fountains on each floor. Loved the coffee machine on Level 2. Big room, good facilities (coffee machine/fridge/microwave). Very quiet rooms. Great value for money!

Excellent location with helpful and friendly staff. Good sized, well equipped room that was clean, comfortable and warm. I had seen some previous reviews complain about elevator wait times for the two hotels sharing the location but never had any issues with the elevators whatsoever

Good location. Easy walk to cafes and restaurants nearby. Most staff were nice enough. Kiosk check-in is crap, hotels really need to go back to having helpful competent staff to do this basic aspect of staying in a hotel!! Comfortable bed. We did like the water bottle refill dispenser, nice touch. First room had view of the river and Trump building although the windows were filthy! (We had 2 nights in one room another 2 nights in a different room due to extending our stay). This time the helpful staff did do the check-in and eventually we moved ourselves to the other room despite many problems with keys not working!!

I had an amazing stay at River Hotel in Chicago once again! This time, I was lucky to have a beautiful room on the 21st floor with a stunning view of the river. I absolutely adore this hotel for its fantastic location—it’s so close to all the major attractions, making it incredibly convenient. The views are always breathtaking, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Chicago. I can’t wait to come back!
