Location was excellent, the staff very friendly and the downstairs lounge really nice with good live music every night. My room was large, clean and with a nice view.

The location of the place was perfect, right on the street of the Sunday market! The vibes were very nice and the villa is nicely decorated.

I love the colonial style, it's in keeping with the area. A lovely old building, with fabulous attentive staff. Great value for money in the heart of the old town. Huge rooms with good size balcony's if you want to people watch, our friends had the front facing room number 12 on the fourth floor and they loved it. We were in room 3 at the rear of the property on the third floor with triple aspect room so very bright and airy with a balcony, and we loved ours. Large flatscreen television (around 60 inch) with loads of channels including Netflix. Good fast Wifi throughout. Comfy super king size bed Very good air-con Fridge, tea and coffee facilities in rooms. Limited breakfast menu, but perfectly adequate to kick start the day. Excellent bands on Sundays when the market is on. They also sell draught beer which is hard to come by in this area. The music can be heard in bedrooms, but it is well advertised in the Hotel so not a surprise, and to be honest if you stay in any hotel on walking street it will be the same everywhere on Sunday. It could perhaps benefit from some updating and refurbishment - however it is very charming and unique. If it were refurbished to a high standard of course, with such a beautiful building it would command a significantly higher price than we paid for our stay. We will return next year for sure.

We stayed here originally booking only 1 night however changed our booking and extended for another 3 nights. The room was spacious for two ppl. Our room was tidied every day and although we didn't eat downstairs we bought fruit and yoghurt from the markets. Highly recommend this hotel for value, cleanliness and location to everything nearby.

This place just oozes charm. Not the luxurious kind of charm but it certainly has the real old word Thai character. The accomodation itself is basic but it has most things that you need in an unsurpassed location in the old Town. Make sure that you visit on Sunday night for the street markets which are held in this street. Only a short walk to the large old town temples and Thaphae Gate. The staff are exceptionally helpful also 😁😁😁
