As someone with some experience with various accommodation options in Chiang Mai , this is an all-round excellent choice, particularly for the first-timer. Great location on the edge of the old city, spacious comfortable rooms, (surprisingly) excellent food, a nice swimming pool, and small fitness room. Staff incredibly friendly and efficient. It’s all done calmly and effortlessly, which makes for a very relaxing time.

Lovely welcome, friendly staff, great location inside old city but only 10 mins from airport which is convenient for early flights. We arrived on New Year’s Eve and the hotel put on a complimentary New Year’s Eve party with traditional Thai dancing, an array of Traditional Thai food by the pool and a 3 course dinner which was excellent. We haven’t come across such generosity at a hotel. A very enjoyable stay.

Walkable distance to many areas, amazing friendly and helpful staff. I was always greeted like a friend. Nothing was too much trouble. Convenient having a restaurant on site. Daily free afternoon activities were great too. The bed was my comfiest in Thailand.
