We loved our stay at The Phucom Hotel,there was a dance festival we attended at the very place,upon arriving we found this hotel very austere and dark but we later appreciated it is almost entirely covered in teak wood.Our room was on the ninth floor and it was very large,almost like a small apartment with a wide window showing the mountains.Bed was comfortable,sheets clean and smelling fresh,chamber ladies ready to please any request you have of extra towels,coffee or tea with a smile.We realized the Phucom is as large as a small airport that's why is so popular with conventions and tour buses,we have never seen so many buses in one place,because of the size of this hotel and the insulation by the wood it is always quiet and yet it is located under the flight pass and on one of the busiest main roads of Chiang Mai.Breakfast needs some help
