Resort Overview

Nestled on the island in the middle of the Kok River, The Riverie by Katathani offers luxurious rooms surrounded by lush garden, diverse plants and seasonal flowers. I travel to Chiang Rai from Chiang Mai several times per year with my girlfriend to visit her parents so I have stayed in almost every hotel in the area. The Riverie is a safe choice for anyone visiting the city because it ticks nearly all the boxes for an enjoyable stay. I have stayed here probably 10 times of the last 3 years living in Thailand and this hotel is consistently very good.

We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The 8th floor room was quiet, cozy, comfortable with a good view of the river and from garden. The breakfast lay was good and tasty food. Even the al-carte dinners, we enjoyed by the riverside where the entire space was beautifully decorated with LED lights. Very romantic and quiet. Staff was helpful for guidance and information about the town.

Great place and a lot to look around. The decoration was amazing and we had so much fun walking around at night. Loved the art exhibitions of local artists. The indoor play place was amazing. The rooftop bar has the best view of Chiang Rai.
