Paapu’s House is THE place to be in Chiang Mai. Paapu and Roger are great hosts that will make you feel at home, the location is perfect id you want to explore the city by foot or with Tuktuk. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, the shared bathrooms are clean and there is also a balcony if you want to chill away from noises. The house also has a cozy caffè-bar where you can eat at all time and enjoy live music on some nights. I can’t wait to be back!!!

Paapu House is the sixth and by far the most affordable place I have stayed in on this trip to Thailand. And I have to say it is my favorite place of them all. What a friendly, hospitable and hardworking woman Paapu is. The place is like a mix of a hotel and a hostel: seven simple rooms, excellent shared bathrooms, clean and have some exquisite aesthetic details. The cafe has a very good atmosphere, both in the morning and the evenings, and the food is delicious too. They even have live music every Thursday.

We had an amazing time at Paapu House! The rooms were incredibly cozy and thoughtfully designed, making it feel like a home away from home. The restaurant downstairs was a nice surprise, offering delicious food at affordable prices. Our host Paapu’s warm and welcoming hospitality added a personal touch to the experience that made us feel right at home. Paapu House is the perfect place for a comfortable and memorable stay :)

Paapu House is a very friendly place to stay at, where one can really feel at home. Paapu herself gave very useful tips to visit Chiang Mai. Paapu House is also a bar and serves some food, with a big choice of breakfast. The common areas were clean. While it is located outside of the old town, it's only a short walk away and it hasn't been a problem at all to visit the old city just by walking.
