The best hostel - the staff were lovely, the location is perfect, you get free bananas and coffee/tea/drinking water. Very social environment with a cool hangout area and 2 very cute cats :) Highly recommend this hostel.

Noi (the owner) is so lovely and learns everyone’s names. On the first night she took us to a drag show with others from the hostel and she also booked a cooking class for us which was great. Definitely go if you want a sociable hostel!

The hostel was social but also very chilled, close to Chiang mai square, nice bars and restaurants. My partner and I only stayed for 3 nights however we were out for the majority of the day. We booked all of our excursions with Noi, she was so informative and very helpful with the bookings and although we didn’t spend alot of our time socialising in the evening as we were very tired, Noi remembered our names after the first evening. The hostel had good amenities even though we were in a large mixed door the shower and toilets were always free with shower gel, tissue and hairdryer available. In the kitchen there are fresh fruits, drinking water and coffee for free. Also, a pool table and games which helped with breaking the ice with other guests.

Monkey Toe Guesthouse is a place I will always return to. P'Noy and Uncle Charlie feel like family to me. They take great care of every guest, making you feel like you're staying at home. The accommodation is clean, and the housekeeper does a wonderful job. There's also my adorable little Nikki, my chubby baby. The guesthouse offers coffee, fruit, and drinking water for you to help yourself. Compared to accommodations in your own country, this place is very affordable yet full of quality. Most importantly, it's located right in the city center, making it easy to reach different attractions. I will definitely come back here again! ❤️❤️🥰
