The views are incredible . It makes you want to stay and sit on the balcony and let the Mekong flow by. The staff and excellent as was the owner. So helpful. I wish I could have stayed longer.

This hotel was one of our favourites in Thailand! The room was spacious and the balcony overlooks the river, so it’s a great place to sit and relax. The owners of the guesthouse are incredibly friendly, and so helpful. They gave us recommendations and helped us with our visas, and were kind enough to provide some breakfast in the morning! We wish we had stayed longer and would highly recommend.

Great location, big room with balcony for a good price.. very helpful owner and family, even left us bread to make a quick breakfast although that wasn’t provided for in room price.

- Wonderful hosts! They were incredibly nice and helpful. They gave us several options to reach Laos and supported with the logistics. - Superb view from the rooms, stunning sunrise over the Mekong river - Very big rooms, plenty of space inside and outside on the balcony - Great location at a walking distance from the street market and the promenade is great for running - Delicious banana for breakfast

Location was good, easy access to the riverside boulevarde providing lengthy walks in either direction. Friendly english speaking owners, ready to help with any enquiry. Room was large and spotlessly clean and had a large sliding glass door on to a balcony with a fabulous view across the Mekong River to a Laos town on the other side. Close to main street with lots of cafes. The ideal town to stay when catching a slow boat to Luang Prabang, but give yourself more than just one night, to enjoy Chiang Khong.
