Such a beautiful place to stay , just far enough away from the town but only a short tuk tuk drive away . Fantastic facilities , spacious rooms and gracious hosts so eager to help with all your plans . Food in the restaurant was great !

The place has a beautiful peaceful atmosphere. It is 30 min walk distance to the town. Has a beautiful landscape. The service is personalized and very polite and helpful. The hotel is made with taste. The room is big and comfortable. If we ever come back to Chiang Khong we would absolutely stay here again.

What a beautiful resort....so confortable, so quiet, spotless and friendly...honestly you wont find better value in Chiang Khong...the food is also very good at a very reasonnable price..read carefully the . comments...lot of them mention that they regret they didnt stay more than one night on their way to Laos...I stayed 2 nights and I regret I didnt stay 3 😁

We loved the view from our room. We booked the Grand Master Suite and chose the 2nd floor so we could have an amazing 360° view of Chiang Khong. Mai, the owner of Baan Sakuna is lovely. She is very accommodating to the needs of the guests. You will need a vehicle to get out and about as its located a fair distance from restaurants and shops if you were to go by foot. There is a fabulous restaurant on site. We ate there the first night, but wanted to explore what else was around on our second night. The rooms either have very thick walls or sound proofing as we were told that guests would be arriving quite late and apologies were given for the noise in advance, but there was no noise or disruption of our beautiful and peaceful 2 nights that we spent at Baan Sakuna.

We only spent one night here before crossing into Laos and we wish we had spent longer, one of our favourite hotels after months of travelling! Huge rooms with lovely bathrooms, and a balcony with a great view of the river. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious. The owner is absolutely lovely and helped us with anything we needed, we completely recommend staying here!
