The host met us on the premises at very late check in, was very understanding of our late arrival, and was very keen to give us directions on what to do and see around. The apartment was clean and contained all the necessary tools for our stay. All the appliances and tools were in good condition and functioning properly. We really enjoyed our stay, there was very few other people around the premise, so we could enjoy in piece. The pool and the view from the location was spectacular. Highly recommended!

The pool is absolutely gorgeous with the view of the Tuscan countryside, even much better than on pictures. We used it a lot and kids loved that it was just a few steps from the apartment. The building is pleasantly located in between pine and olive trees so you feel surrounded by nature yet it’s very close to the town. The apartment is quite basic but perfectly clean and with all you need. The owner/manager is super kind, he always made sure we had everything and gave us great tips for places around. He also runs a wellness hotel in the town and offered us to use the spa there.

A real Tuscan villa with a wonderful view from the terrace, with a pool area located right next to it. A small area between the terrace and the pool is protected from the sun by a line of pine trees, so you can sit in the shade and enjoy the magnificent view on the surrounding valley. On the other side of the house, an equally breathtaking view on the old Chianciano town can be seen. The town, albeit a bit deserted, provides adequate services (food, shopping etc.). The villa is easy to reach by car (follow the road signs in town, then look for a sign near the entrance gate) and there's ample parking space on site. The host is really helpful and passionate about keeping the guests happy. The apartments were spacious and adequately equipped (every room has its own bathroom!) WiFi is available, although sometimes a bit tricky to connect to. The pool area is also used by guests of the other hotel run by the family, but we had no problems with overcrowding. Bear in mind, swimming caps are mandatory in the pool area (the host will keep you informed on any other house rules). All in all, a great place to stay.

We as a family with 2 small children really enjoyed our stay here. The swimming pool with the view of the typical Tuscan valley was superb and it was just 1min walk from the apartment so super easy with the kids for naps and snacks. The parking was right in front of the house and the pool so you could see the car at all times. There were 2 TVs - cool if the kids insist on cartoons, you can watch something else. There were 2 sets of towels provided - for shower and for swimmong. We appreciated the laundry machine and drying rack (but bring your own detergent). Most of the time we were the only ones at the pool so we had the feeling that the whole place was just for us and when occasionally other people came they were super nice to chat with. Our stay was made exceptional by the very welcoming host Giacomo who besides sharing tips on restaurants and places to go told us stories about Chianciano from the old times to present as well as some exciting info on the Netflix and HBO productions that were filmed nearby. I am already planning a next visit, this time with my extended family. Beware that the check-in is in the nearby location (see key handover instructions in the booking confirmation to avoid confusion).
