Excellent choices for breakfast. The staff friendly and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Leonardo hotel if visiting Chester again. The location is excellent for the city centre and the racecourse. The hotel is about a twenty minute walk from the railway station.

Inside (don’t judge by the outside!) has been really nicely decorated and furnished, especially the bar & restaurant area. Our room was compact, but comfortably enough (bed was a little hard) and was really clean. It was also very quiet, but probably because there were so few guests. We did ask for a nice room as it was my birthday and we were given a room that overlooked the kitchen extractor system 🙈. Staff were friendly and helpful.. The location for exploring Chester is excellent.

It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Usually hotels in the UK tend to overheat. Breakfast was very good with a friendly chef. It offers a gym facility and the location is very close to the shopping centre.
