A nice clean house with a separate living room space with room for two people, great reading/ chatting room! The Wheatsheaf is a five minute walk, had two nice meals in there.

The host was very welcoming and called me on arrival to make sure everything was OK. The property was very comfortable and had all the amenities we could ask for. Very close to city centre and Chester Zoo. Excellent value for money

We loved everything from the little extras such as home made cake. Very nice. The location. Cottage was gorgeous.

Nice touches - fresh flowers in the house, a wrapped home made fruit cake was on the kitchen counter and milk in the fridge. Nespresso machine & capsules available. Owners were easily contactable in case of query, and helpful. Leading from the smaller lounge/garden room there was a small garden and patio area with seating, which was lovely! Added bonus - a few minutes walk to the Zoo! Local small supermarkets within yards of the property with a bigger supermarket 15 mins walk - or 2 mins by car - away. Local pubs serve food.

Clean, comfy, well equipped and spacious, in a brilliant location for visiting Chester and the zoo. Local shops and pub very close by. Friendly helpful host.
