Beautiful location in the Wye valley, near the river and a short drive to Tintern Abbey. Comfortable rooms. Excellent food.

Really enjoyed our stay. Very friendly and helpful staff and owners. Room lovely and very comfortable bed. Very clean. We had breakfast and evening meals. Both excellent. Lovely local area to explore with walks as well. We also visited Chepstow Racecourse which was easily accessible and booked a taxi there and back .

This is a traditional, pub/ hotel run by very friendly and welcoming hosts and staff. The rooms are comfortable and exceptionally clean. Food is home cooked and much of it is locally sourced. Although the outside decor is a little tired, window boxes planted with spring flowers cheer it up.
