Location was perfect just a few minutes walk from Cheltenham town centre. Parking was easy with a permit from the hotel, we were able to park close to the Guest House. Room was a good size and bed was very comfortable. Staff were lovely and breakfast was really good. Had a brilliant one night stay and would definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

We had a lovely stay very friendly good value for money breakfast was lovely and was close to town 15 min walk at the most we stayed new years eve and was very good for all amenities

The Portland Guest house was very welcoming, warm, and inviting. Our room was warm and very comfortable. Lovely beds and great shower, too. Our choice of breakfast, full English, was one of the nicest we have had in many English hotels. Sian and her team were friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Visit to Cheltenham races on New Years Day 2025 was the icing on the cake. The Portland is ideally situated for the race course, shopping and dining out.
