Just a few minutes walk from The Town Hall and Everyman theatre. Also very close to many restaurants including Beefy Boys. Friendly little pub - we sat for quite a while chatting to the landlord's son behind the bar and also some regular customers. Seems like a proper local but not cliquey. Nice room at the top of the building (a lot of stairs). Very clean and comfy single beds spaced well apart and with good bed linen. Small but fine ensuite shower room/toilet.

Top floor single room with very little noise from the pub below. Helpful and friendly hosts. Bed was comfortable. No problems with the wifi. A very convenient location for an event at the town hall and very close to the town centre.

Location and parking was superb. Hosts Chris and June friendly and very accommodating, the pub was a bonus with a lovely cosy atmosphere. Would definitely stay again.

Comfortable stay, close to the location for Chelt Literature Festival. Cosy pub downstairs - convenient for a pint before heading to bed. The room was quiet and I had a good night's rest. Cheerful little place!
