Hotel Overview

Situated in the heart of the fashionable Montpellier district, Malmaison Cheltenham blends modern architecture and design with traditional regency elegance. Cheltenham town centre is just 5 minutes walk along the Promenade and Montpellier Gardens, a main venue for Jazz, Science and Literature Festival events, is just 2 minutes walk from the hotel.
Each room features individual artwork, Egyptian cotton linen and en-suite bathrooms. Some rooms have modern, open-plan bathrooms and Nespresso machines, while others boast their own private balcony.
The on-site Chez Mal Brasserie is open for dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings. Guests can also enjoy a light snack menu all week.

Inclusions only apply for adults. Children’s Breakfast is not included in the advertised rates and the charges are as follows directly to the hotel: 0-4 years old – Breakfast Complimentary/5- 11 years old – Breakfast charged at 50% full price/ 12 and over breakfast charged at full adult price. Kids Dinner Menu also available.
Please note extra beds and cots must be confirmed with the hotel prior to arrival, customers will be required to settle children's extra bed charges (£30 per night) directly with the hotel.
Parking is available at £10/night either in the on-site car park or via digital permit parking on Parabola Road. Please inform our team at check-in to register your vehicle in either parking facility. Car parking is subject to availability and cannot be reserved in advance.
When travelling with a dog, please note that an extra charge of £25 for 1 dog or £40 for maximum 2 dogs. Dogs are allowed in designated guest rooms-please notify the hotel in advance.

I was treated to a free upgrade i guess because i have stayed there a few times in 2024 because its the best hotel in cheltenham and ive stayed in virtually everyone over the years!

I was able to park underneath. The hotel is well presented and very central I loved the location. The staff were helpful and friendly. I felt relaxed and at home.
