its become my favourite village hotel!! and ive been to many, i love rahat & his team! all staff members are so friendly and go the extra mile! all of my friends who come say the same! rooms are always spotless too!... it feels like a second home im always cosy and comfortable here! amazing non-judgmental staff :)

This hotel is really good value I went for my birthday celebrations with friends and everyone had a great time - food very good, staff v friendly and helpful … I can’t understand why some people have given low reviews for me it was excellent!

Very convenient for a short trip to Edinburgh. Bus stop right outside the hotel and took about 15 mins to get to the centre. The gym was fantastic, fully equipped. We enjoyed a swim in the pool with children as well.

From checking in, we were made to feel welcome. The young man on the check in 'was very polite and helpful. He is definitely a credit to your company. Starbucks staff were also very helpful. The rooms were clean and well set out, very clean and lovely smelling. Breakfast was great a good selection to suit all tastes. Overall, my friends and I had a very satisfactory stay. 80s night was great. If I had 1 negative, it would be the dessert that was served was not very nice. Baked cheesecake, no flavour, and claggy in the mouth. There were 10 people on our table, and no one ate more than a mouthful. Overall, the verdict on the cheesecake is not very nice at all. Without a doubt, our stay was fantastic. We would definitely stay at The Village Hotel again.
