The location of this hotel is wonderful. All the staff we came into contact with were very friendly and helpful. Really appreciated the firmness of the beds. The lobby and public areas were absolutely beautiful.

This is a large hotel centrally situated -ideal. We had booked one of the cheaper (not a word the hotel would like I suspect) rooms and it was great value. Large fairly comfortable and a decent bathroom. The bar was nice and friendly. We didn’t dine. I’d say worth staying if you’re that way. Plenty of parking around if you object to valet prices.

The second room we got after our bad experience in the annex of the hotel was in the historic part, and was absolutely gorgeous - exactly like we wanted it, when we chose this historic hotel. Again, can't understand, how the other rooms fit into the hotel's concept... Anyways, lovely bathroom, nice view, big and most important - quiet! This room gets a 10. Parking is by valet - not much choice given the central location. On the other hand you can walk everywhere. Also a nice bar and two restaurants (didn't use them though, they were probably busy enough with the rehearsal dinners on that evening).

The classical look of the hotel really brought you back to other times, next to that the personnel was very kind and helpful. They even upgraded us to the historic tower when we couldn't sleep because of some noise.

We came to the hotel and checked in. We just left our luggage and went out downtown. When we came back to the hotel we noticed the toilet had broken down. We talked to the staff and we got upgraded directly. The staff handled it really well.
