We had a wonderful welcome from our hosts. We had a free upgrade to the studio apartment which was well equipped, comfortable and very quiet at night. We had a nice breakfast at the house, with home made yoghurt, fresh figs and a choice of French breads with homemade jams. Our hostess made a takeaway breakfast for our last day as we had to leave early.

Continental breakfast was excellent with home made jams. Huge choice of teas and coffees. Served on the terrace when the weather permitted (2 out of 4 days)

The Hostess is charming and considerate and serves a superb continental breakfast with delicious homemade yoghurt and jams. Ideally suited location for an easy walk to the cathedral and the cafes and restaurants. If you're looking for a stopover this accommodation is perfect .

Loved everything - the hosts were lovely, the apartment was bigger than expected and beautifully styled. The airco was a welcome treat after spending two weeks in a heatwave. The bathroom looked like it was straight out of a five-star spa hotel. Bedrooms were spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could need. Location was outstanding, just a one-minute walk into the centre of Chartres. The breakfast was fabulous, fresh bread, fruit, homemade yoghurt, cheese and cereals served on a private terrace, surrounded by trees. You can tell the hosts take a lot of pride in their work. We plan to come back to Chartres for a longer stay after staying here.

Beautiful comfortable room in easy walking distance of the station and the cathedral. Anne went out of her way to make me welcome, and I had everything I needed. The room was really well designed with all the little things like plugs next to the bed and good lighting. Breakfast was lovely.
