Le Jardin Cathedrale has a good location. The room we stayed in was charming, clean, comfortable, and overlooked the garden. We had a wonderful view of the full moon.. Dominique, our thoughtful hostess made us a delicious breakfast. Perfectly placed for walking to the centre of town, or the river.

Lovely, well decorated room with comfortable bed. Pleasant shower/ensuite facilities. Complimentary tea/coffee making facilities with nice touch of pieces of chocolate added. Excellent continental breakfast. Very pleasant and helpful host, Dominique. Excellent car parking facility in private gated courtyard. Very well positioned for easy walking access into the town centre nearby.

Great location close to the cathedral and with parking. Very comfortable room and very quiet. We slept well. Nice breakfast in a lovely room looking out into the garden. And a very warm welcome from Dominique. We will definitely stay there again

A charming 'chambers d'hotes' (b&b) very close to the centre of Chartres, yet remarkably peaceful. It is run by a delightful hostess (whose lovely Spaniel, named John Lennon, was an unobtrusive presence at breakfast) who speaks faultless English. The building is over 150 years old and furnished in sympathy with its age (NB no Tvs in the bedrooms). There are numerous paintings on the walls - some quaint, some amusing - all interesting. The bedrooms are not huge but ours had the most comfortable bed we have slept in outside our own home. At breakfast guests sit round one table. The perfect place from which to explore Chartres with its magnificent cathedral - a less that ten minute walk away.
