The breakfast was great and we loved the complimentary cookies in the afternoon/evening. The staff were friendly and the room was very spacious!

OUR ROOM WAS HUGE, RIGHT NEAR THE ELEVATOR ON 5TH FLOOR. IT WAS CLEAN, BUT THE TOILET HANDLE WAS VERY VERY LOOSE AND IT NEEDED A NEW SHOWER CURTAIN(RIPS AT TOP). OTHERWISE IT WAS COMFORTABLE. I PERSONALLY LIKE A HARDER MATTRESS, BUT AFTER TOURING ALL DAY, I WOULD HAVE SLEPT ON A BED OF NAILS. BREAKFAST-WISH IT WENT TIL 10AM. A BETTER THAN AVERAGE ONE. SCRAMBLED EGGS THO, NO TASTE. BUT A VARIETY OF ITEMS, SO IT WAS GOOD. LOVED THE HOMADE CHOC CHIP COOKIES, THE LEMON WATER AND COFFEE BAR AVAILABLE MOST OF THE DAY. THIS WAS SORT OF CENTRALLY LOCATED TO THE HISTORICAL AREA AND THE BEACH.

The staff was the friendliest I have ever had the pleasure of staying with. They "Southern Hospitality" is personified in the staff at this Hotel.

The room was mainly very nice, however, the toilet was very low to the floor, difficult for me and my husband who are seniors. The bathroom vanity was kind of shabby the paint job.
