We had an excellent stay at Barksdale House Inn. Breakfasts were tasty and filling. The Inn was close to everything we wanted to see in Charleston. The staff were very friendly and we appreciated the opportunity to store our luggage after checkout as we weren’t leaving til late afternoon. We would stay at the Barksdale House Inn again.

Nice B&B in the heart of the city. Staff is very engaged and friendly. Great breakfast. The room looked like an ancient antique but was fully functional at the same time.

It was a great location . Overall we loved our stay . The room was spacious and comfortable and clean . The property looks tired in places . Breakfasts and afternoon tea were worthy extras .

Wonderful staff in beautiful historic building, beautifully furnished. Very welcoming and homely. Walking distance to downtown. Staff go above and beyond to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. Breakfast freshly and individually prepared to your order.
