We arrived at the hotel for our 15th anniversary as we had our wedding reception here. We have really enjoyed the beautiful location over the years and have stayed a few times, so we decided to stay over and have dinner bed and breakfast. Upon arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful, as they allowed us to choose a larger double suite with stunning views of the grounds and bennachie. Unfortunately, I was very sick not long after arrival, (darn winter bugs) so I was unable to eat dinner, so they have honoured our dinner reservation for another date, which was very good of them. So the evening was sadly a letdown due to my illness as I was bedridden the whole time. Otherwise I'm sure it would have been a lovely evening in such a beautiful setting.

Lovely spacious room (The Huntley) with a wonderful view. We had dinner in the evening which was delicious. Breakfast was also delicious ☺️

The property is old, and there are no lifts. Climbing lots of stairs is essential, but the rooms are very nice with a great en-suite bath and shower and plenty of hot water.

Great rural location. Lovely building, well decorated for the festive period. Staff were friendly and professional. Dinner delicious and great choice of wines. King-size room very comfortable. En suite had a good shower over the bath.

the welcome from staff and the service we received was really good but there were very few people staying at the hotel so the staff didn't have too many people to look after. our evening meal and breakfast were great.
