Well equipped and cleaned Villa. Chronis is an amazing host that made our stay even more comfortable. Definitely we will choose again this accommodation in case that we visit this area.

The villa is in a beautiful old building restored to an exceptional standard. Extremely comfortably furnished and with a stunning view from the terrace of the hills to one side and the sea in front of you. There was nothing that our host hadn't thought of, we had everything we could possibly need including a well equipped kitchen and barbeque area with a fridge and plenty of charcoal. The added bonus was a mid week clean and change of bed linen and towels. The heated pool brings the temperature up to a level that will keep you comfortable for as long as you want to stay in there! The villa is located in a small village with a couple of tavernas and is mostly populated by local people which we loved. Kournas Lake is a 5 to 10 minute drive away where you can hire a pedalo and swim in beautiful freshwater. The beach and supermarkets are a 15 minute drive away and you can park close to the beaches which are not crowded. This is a truly gorgeous villa with a delightful host who has thought of everything to make your stay there perfect.

The villa is amazing! Beautiful inside and out and with wonderful views out over the countryside and the coast. We could have happily spent weeks here. The location is perfect if you want to be away from the crowds and enjoy the peaceful village atmosphere. A small car is a must and there is private, gated parking via a narrow laneway. A great base to explore the area from although you may find it hard to leave the lovely pool! The kind host, Chronis met us on the way so we could follow him to the villa where he showed us around and gave us all the info we needed to make our stay comfortable. He was also very helpful and kind when we had a medical emergency. I would highly recommend this villa!

Beautifully modernised old building . Amazing views , lovely pool area and very comfortable and well equipped everything we needed . Located in a traditional village with tavernas and small shops run by friendly locals . Super Friendly, helpful and responsive host .

I liked everything! Beautiful villa, pool, quiet place. We also liked that place to sleep is on a different level than a living room so you can spend time there while not waking up somebody downstairs.

Everything was amazing! What you see in the pics is what you get and more. We were met by the Owner at the location which was a good thing because reaching the parking was a little bit tricky. It's a tight squeeze especially for bigger cars, and yes you would definitely need a car to get in/ out of the villa. But once you've arrived, it's an island retreat on it's own. Even though there's quite a lot to see in Crete we found it very difficult to leave the comfort and facilities of the villa, it's just so amazing with the heated pool and outdoor bbq facilities. There are a bunch of taverns within walking distance so you won't struggle for food. And there is a pretty big supermarket at the base of the mountain it's located on which makes stocking up with whatever supplies you need for your stay a breeze. The place is super clean with a crazy amount of provisions for cooking, dining and drinking. Can't recommend it highly enough and can't wait to stay there again.
