Incredible villa, spacious, well stocked and an unbelievable pool and view. Many of us also work remotely and the wifi was very good the entire time with coverage across all the rooms. Having a BBQ whilst watching the ships sail into the bay is an absolute must. The tranquil mornings were incredible, we could all happily sit all day just watching the world go by. The villa is a wonderfully relaxing place. Many beaches within 5 - 10 minute drive and the incredible archeological site of Aptera on your doorstep. The service was excellent, all questions went answered immediately and Evi was a huge help!

This is place is an absolute gem and the best value for money available on Crete if you are looking to stay in a villa. Usually the places look better in the pictures you get for these rates, but this one far exceeded our expectations! The hospitality of the host was also impeccable, meeting our requests and needs at every turn. You can certainly book this place with the comfort of knowing if you need something or if something in the premises needs attending to (e.g. we had one of the bedrooms AC's fixed in the matter of a few hours during the heat wave in Mid-June 2024), this will be taken care of with the utmost urgency. The neighborhood overall consists of large houses / villas and is a very quiet and comfortable place to stay at. All the bedrooms have AC and the facilities overall are great, with a spectacular view of the sea from the yard. The terrace set-up works extremely well for both having dinner and just spending time socializing. Making pizza in the Cretan oven on the lower yard is also definitely something all guests should try and experience. Also highly recommend walking down from the hill for 10 minutes and visiting the restaurant "Tavern the Aptera". Great food, great service and great prices.

What a superb location with stunning views. Quiet, birds and scheep sounds. Close to Chania, beaches and Taverna's. A car is a must. The villa is by far the best we had in the last 15 years at Crete. It is unfeasible to explain how complete Villa Thea is. The owner created an cosy and chique atmosphere in and around Villa Thea. Never seen such a place. Lovely swimming pool. The service from the agency is great and very fast. Next year....Yes !
