The best thing about the stay was the friendliness of the staff. They helped with any question that I had, from parking to questions about the accommodation. The location is amazing, in the vibrant center of Chania with plenty of great restaurant and bars around, and with the port just a few minutes away. Check-in procedure was easy, and the room was very comfortable.

We stayed in the room that had the bath & the shutter in the bathroom could not be closed as it was broken and it banged all night long. The headboard is very badly worn & peeling so it can't be cleaned properly. The duvet on the bed looked clean but had no cover on it so not sure if it is laundered after evey guest. The lady I spoke was friendly & helpful about my booking.

The hotel is in a great location and the room was perfect for couples. It was extremely clean and Matina sent us very helpful information before our stay.

The property was in an excellent location close to the harbour & restaurants. A small shop over the road was great for essential supplies.The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well.
