The staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to suggest attractions, accomodate requests and make our stay more enjoyable. The food served by the hotel's restaurant, which is just underneath the hotel, was delicious. The location is excellent.

The warmest of welcomes from Emily at reception was lovely and much appreciated by us hot and weary travellers. The room was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the apartment "Erophele". Simply loved the colour scheme, old-style Cretan charm, comfort and decoration. It was clean and spacious. Brilliant views across the old harbour, lighthouse and promenade. The location was excellent, with essentially everything of interest just a short walk away, including the Old Town, museums, lighthouse, restaurants, tours, shopping and for simply taking a cultural walkabout. The breakfast was very good and rather special with the water and harbour views.

The location, facilities and comfort was second to none. In particular, the staff/family were the best part. Emily, georgo and John were super helpful, friendly and treated us all like family.
