Beautiful room with a view of the lighthouse and the water. Comfy beds, delicious breakfast, centrally located. Room was large and light filled. There was a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. Definitively a great place to stay in Chania.

The Alcanea is a beautiful hotel with lovely staff. They were very friendly and helpful. The bed was extremely comfortable and the location is fantastic

This is a wonderful place to stay. The location is excellent, very close to the waterfront. Breakfast is very good and the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. Our room had a balcony overlooking the harbour which was very enjoyable.

Beautiful old building overlooking the old harbour area. Perfectly restored and maintained to preserve the history while being comfortable for the modern user. Very impressed that the hotel group leases the building from a private family who still own it. Great breakfast options. Eva was very freindly, helpful and flexible for late check-in. I hope to go again for longer!

Top Location, friendly helpful manager, spacious room. Charming old hotel with an interesting history, next to The Maritime Museum in the old port are with a view of the Venetian Lighthouse

Historic, full of character. View over the sea to old fort and light house. Very helpful staff. Lovely breakfast overlooking port. But still very quiet.
