Beautiful location at the edge of a lake, very quiet despite being near some busy roads, extensive grounds; quite a colonial feel to the place; restaurant at lakeside very atmospheric for a summer evening meal; extensive shared balcony overlooking lake from first floor

The location is excellent. Facing a lake with swans. Reminiscent of the world of The Sound of Music. The food is good and highly recommended. All the staff are very helpful. The hotel facilities are a bit dated, but the rest of the hotel is so good that it makes you forget that.
