I am in love with this beautiful hotel and the people who run it. The whole staff is lovely, very welcoming, everyone speaks very good English and they can't do enough to make your stay a lovely experience. Although it's a big hotel, you are made to feel special and welcome, as if you are coming home, so inviting and relaxed. Nothing is too much trouble and they see to your every need. The hotel itself is just magical, the grounds are breathtaking, with a beautiful view of the coast and its own private beach with lovely facilities where you can shower after your swim in the beautiful clear sea and then have a wonderful lunch in the little restaurant directly on the beach. The food served by the hotel is based on the produce from their own organic farm, I had absolutely no problems at all with my stomach while I was there. The restaurants command views of the sea and coast: it felt just wonderful to dine outside under the stars. I can't wait to visit again and highly recommend San Michele as a place to relax, regenerate and nurture your soul.
