Dodosi as a town is lovely to visit, but Pristan Apartments/Apartmani Most really made it feel like home for the short duration that I was there! I cannot recommend it enough. I booked the hotel through booking.com, and there was a bit of friction in the booking process, but I later realized that this communication goes through an agency - not with the host directly. The host (Danijela) and her family are incredibly warm and caring people! They live in the building across the street. They made sure I had everything I needed and invited me over for coffee with the family - drinking turkish coffee, eating figs from their garden, and enjoying ice cream that Danijela's daughter brought me because I mentioned that I love ice cream! The lunch I had (10-15 euros) was an incredible feast (the picture attached is not all of it) and that one meal lasted me the whole day. Danijela cooks food for her family and shares it with the guests, and home cooked food always hits the spot. The apartment is on the edge of town and faces the nature directly so you are not obstructed by any other houses! This was awesome given that each room came with a large balcony to enjoy the view. The river is visible from your door, so you can walk over to take a swim easily. There are cows that roam the field that is all vibes. WiFi is good! Fast enough to take video calls for work. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking. There is AC in the room, but I rarely needed it in August since leaving the balcony door open let enough of a cool breeze in the room. There is a restaurant/bar next door too if you need. There was no source of drinking water in the rooms, but luckily I had brought enough so it was not an issue for me.
