“Romantic room in a beautiful town.”

Wonderful location with very friendly staff. We found our room was cold as the heating setting was set to blow cold, we could not change the settings. Other than that it was a lovely room. HUGE bath. comfy bed. very nice. pretty central to where we wanted to be. we would have liked to stay longer and use the facilities. but this stay was for a single night.

Location is great. The hotel is in a historic building with a recent major renovation, rooms are big and everything works. So, it is kinda you are in the past with all modern facilities. Staff is very helpful.

Charming, period hotel. Location could not be better. We stayed during the Five Petal Rose Festival. Helpful staff. Rooms well decorated. Our suite was excellent value.

The hotel building is over 500 years old (the structure) and each room has a character to it. It genuinely felt like I was in a room in the middle ages. The location of the hotel is simply the best. Everything is within a 2 minute radius of walking. The views of the castle and cloak tower are amazing to see from the room. Check in was very easy, and they gave me a box of chocolate because it was my birthday. Much appreciated! Each room is different to the other, so you are guaranteed an authentic experience.
