We absolutely LOVED our stay here! Firstly - the food is 10/10. The staff really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome & the area has loads scenic walks to explore. 100% recommend to anyone looking for a local pub to stay in with great food

On arrival we had a very warm and welcoming greeting, which continued through out our stay. The food both lunchtime and evening was extremely enjoyable. The inside of the pub is very well laid out, with a log fire to making you feel warm and cosy. Breakfast was well cooked and again served with a smile along with local information in abundance. We will definitely return, to explore more of the area and take advantage of some more home cooked food.

Superb rural location in the heart of Dorset. Well maintained. Comfy bed and lots of immediate hot water!! The food was excellent and the staff were good humoured caring and attentive.
