Very nice Hotel in the centre of the old town, just across the road from the train station. Staff very polite, excellent breckfast.

The location is excellent. If you have a car then there are a number of reserved parking spots for €5 per day. My Slovenian is not great, the staff were brilliant, all super friendly and knowledgeable. The sauna was great.
