We enjoyed our stay here. The 3 bed villa is really spacious and the beds comfy. There is one en-suite and a lovely big separate bathroom. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They provided a plentiful Filipino breakfast with different treats each day. It is in a quiet area about a 10/15 minute walk into the town where there are many lovely bars and places to eat.. The kitchen facilities/utensils are quite basic if wanting to prepare own food, we weren’t so it was fine. The private beach area is nice but only 4 sunbeds for the 3 units if all wanting to use at same time. There were a lot of mosquitoes but there is a zapper provided in the main living area but take spray/candles. We would really recommend Kawasan falls canyoneering trip

The location is amazing, calm and peaceful, near a wonderful rocky beach which can keep you occupied for hours with many cryptic animals to see during low tide. The garden is beautiful and the sisters who manage the place are very warm and caring. The food was good and the tours, pickup and drop off they arranged for us were also good. We look forward to coming back.

The place was really beautiful with stunning beach view, The room and the bathroom are huge and clean. Sisters was very kind, Friendly and helpful, especially Sister Teresa. The breakfast was delicious, the location and view was perfect!! My friends and i enjoyed every bit of our stay at this place. Definitely will come back again!

Lovely spot tucked away from the busy main area. A good 10min walk to town. The grounds were lovely, the access to the house reef was loved by the kids. Turtles there too! Sister Teresa and her team were amazing! Thank you for your hospitality and taking care of our big family!

When you come to this place, don't expect great luxury or glitter. Ancelle Christo Re has something more. A wonderful aura created by Sister Teresa and the other sisters. We felt at home throughout our stay: a hearty and freshly prepared breakfast at your room door, a small cozy beach (don't forget your swimming shoes and beware of sea urchins) and Sister Teresa's sincere help in every case we needed it - renting scooters, organizing transfers, ordering massage services to the hotel, etc. The principle of operation of this accommodation is also fascinating - all funds are allocated to the maintenance of a home for homeless children in Cebu. The ideal location - if you want hustle and bustle - you can find them 10 minutes away in Moalboal, and Ancelle Christo Re is an oasis for a quiet rest without hustle and bustle.

We loved the ocean view and delicious breakfast served daily. We enjoyed the company of their pets, Stella the dog and the cats. The sister-in-charge was very kind and helpful.

We were delighted with our stay here. The villas have their own beach with access to a splendid reef with all sorts of sea life to see, including turtles. A great spot for snorkelling. The accommodation was comfortable. Breakfast was very good, with a different offer every day. Our hostess was Sister Teresa. She was outstanding, and helped arrange transfers from the airport and to our next stay, trips out to see waterfalls and beaches, and even an onsite massage. She is a real asset to the place. We were also lucky in that a new restaurant called Blue Trinity, which was only a five minute walk away, had recently opened with a variety of excellent dishes to sample.

We stayed in the three bedroom house. It was right on the beach with a coral reef so you could snorkel. It had a lovely patio area where you could sit and look out at the beach which was great when it rained. It was out of the way a bit so lovely and peaceful but walking distance to the Main Street with restaurants, shops etc (10 minutes walk).

Such a find. An oasis of calm within 10 mins walk of the Pagansama tourist centre of Moalboal Only 4 suites, all really spacious and well appointed... one of them is the house of the previous owners (Lorenzo) and has 3 double bedrooms and a massive kitchen/Living room: if you are 3 couples or a family, you will not find better anywhere. The property has it's own small beach which you can snorkel from. Sister Theresa and the other sisters will take such good care of you: they are delightful and attentive hosts. The story of Ancelle Cristo di Re is an amazing one. Lorenzo left his home to the nuns who run an orphanage in Cebu City and all proceeds go to that orphanage. So your stay helps a good cause too. NB it's not a party place. They lock the gates for security at 11pm. Like I said, it's an oasis of calm.
