Traveller reviews

“Quirky barn in a great area, highly recommend!”
03 Jan 2025
Set in the middle of nowhere yet close to town centre, lovely walks around. The barn itself is very comfortable and felt like home

“Attractive place that is outdated and needs extra love, but good value.”

First impressions are brilliant. Very homely and spacious. Furniture a little dated but sofas were comfortable. There is underfloor heating, which was on a generous timer, and we we felt very private. Everything looked neat and tidy.

“Family vacation”

Loved the fire, very cosy. 3 bathrooms was amazing for our family. Would stay again despite all the minor issues.

“A great place for solo travellers or small groups and well suited to pets. Would stay again.”

Really lovely barn conversion, spacious and well furnished. Log burner for winter nights (didnt use), and underfloor heating (needed but I failed to switch it on). Loads of cutlery and crockery in the kitchen Bed was comfortable, sofa's look classy and right in keeping with the surroundings. I didnt venture out into the small and well equipped garden, wasn't really the weather for it. But a pretty space. A fantastic little place, perfect for a stay in the Norfolk country 30 minutes drive gets you to many coastal and towns nearby.

“Nice stay overall, great location.”

Had a slight problem with the back door when first arrived but host soon came over and helped. Great location for my two collies, fantastic walks from the back door. Very peaceful. Lovely few days away. Hope to return.

“Tranquil Norfolk, peace, fresh air, open spaces and relaxing.”

Great location, peaceful, cool inside with the windows and the stable door ajar during the warm June days n evenings this year. Directly out onto a trackway onto The Heath super for walking our dog out. Lovely conversion of the barn, so many lovely original features retained too. It was great to have space for dog to move around in and the tiles too helped him stay cool. Everything we needed in the kitchen as I entertained my Aunt n Uncle who I hadn’t seen in years. They loved Threshers Barn too. The nice secure outside space in the garden was one of the reasons I booked and we did make use of that in the warm sunny weather. Oh and we had the added treat of RAF Jets flying around the area too, overall a lovely home for a few days meeting up with family.
