Although a little off the beaten track (which had its advantages) the hotel was well situated for exploring the city. Local restaurants, a lovely gelato bar and the fascinating market were all close by. The staff were welcoming from start to finish, the food and drink great and breakfasts first class with a wide selection of fresh Sicilian delights which varied every day. If we came back to Catania (this was our first ever visit to this part of Italy) this is where we would stay...

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were really nice and helpful. It was really nice to have a wine in the bar while the pianist played. We were also happy with the breakfast selections. Great location - easy walk to everything.

Very classical "old school" hotel with spacious rooms, comfy beds and good breakfast. Located near to both historic center, good restaurants and couple of swimming spots. Great for exploring Catania for couple of days.
