We booked the king suite, it was lovely and spacious and the ceiling was stunning! With the added luxury of three little balconies. The host Manuela was amazing, took the time to explain the best places to visit in Catania and provided a great map.

We love the authenticity of Catania and how they translate into the rooms of il Leone Blu. Very central, very kind host, we parked just in front.

The room was very spacious and comfy, the staff is very kind and always available to help and answer questions. The B&B is in a very central location, just a few minutes from the bus station and the center of Catania.

Our host was in contact with us before we arrived, ensuring we knew how to find our accommodation. She greeted us warmly upon arrival and explained all about the property, facilities and the area around. The room was beautiful and well appointed, the bed was very comfortable. I really liked the availability of chilled soft drinks, or hot drinks for guest to enjoy at any time. Our host was not around when we departed but messaged us to wish us well. All in all a wonderful welcoming place to stay, worth every penny. Would go there again if we returned to Sicily

Il Leone Blu is located in the city center in a very good and hip area. Manuela was very helpful, the accomodation was clean and quiet. Highly recommended!

Fantastic location. The room was stunning - it was like a suite with an entrance area, huge bedroom with a beautiful, original, decorated ceiling and three balconies. Tastefully and beautifully decorated. Very spacious. Comfortable and large bed.Excellent quality cotton bedding. Lovely, tasteful decor. Gorgeous bathroom products. Very clean. In the centre but quiet. Lovely breakfast area with delicious breakfast with Sicilian pastries as well as fruit, cheese and salami. Manuela was extremely helpful and helped organise taxis, restaurant bookings and local trips. She responded immediately to any query. Rosanna provided the magnificent breakfast and looked after the rooms on a daily basis and was very friendly and helpful in every way.

The location was great - short walk to all major sites. The room was beautiful and plenty of space, and a lovely little buffet breakfast. All of that was amazing but what was even more exceptional were the people. Manuela and her colleague went above and beyond to help us when our bags didn’t turn up and we had a saga which went on for days. They were amazing, so warm and helpful, and made us feel really looked after. 100% recommend

Location excellent right next to the Castle and historic centre. Information given by owner which was very useful. Room nice and spacious.
