The hosts of Ciuri di Strata are just lovely and very welcoming. Our room was a good size with a small balcony, the bed was comfortable, shower good, and the toiletries smelt divine! The street was nice and quiet but it's close to restaurants, shops etc, about a 15 minute walk to the cathedral and historical part of the city, and 20 minutes from the train station. The breakfast was lovely with a nice choice, including homemade touches.

Location was excellent for sight seeing and restaurants. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was spacious with good shower. Very hospitable hosts and lovely breakfast both mornings. Great tips for what to see/where to eat 👍

I rarely leave reviews but I can’t fault this place at all. Wow. It’s stunning from floor to ceiling. Every detail has been thought about – toiletries, hygiene, decor. THE COMFIEST BED I have ever slept in after years of hotel stays. I loved it so much I almost stayed another week so I could enjoy the hospitality and perfect room. The hosts are as wonderful as in the reviews. Prepared breakfast a little early for me and it was incredible and carried my heavy suitcase up the stairs like it was easy. Beautiful and attentive. If you’re staying in Catania, stay here. You won’t regret it. Super central too. One of my fave hotels ever.

Perfect breakfast, Alessandra and Giuseppe are extremely kind and considerate. She even checked up on me while I was looking for parking near by. I highly recommend booking at Ciuri Di Strata. It is truly a street flower

Staff were incredibly helpful and kind. Very knowledgeable with lots of helpful information. The room was beautiful. Balcony overlooking a nice courtyard. And good aircon.

I have travelled extensively and I can honestly say this is one of the best places I have ever stayed at. From the moment Alessandra opened the door, we could see it was a real gem, so beautifully designed and furnished. Alessandra and Guiseppe are brilliant hosts who provided such a warm welcome. They could not do enough for us - providing directions, offering suggestions for places to visit, Guiseppe even took us and our bags to the airport bus stop! Breakfast had several choices and was beautifully presented and served in the elegant breakfast room. Alessandra and Guiseppe took time out to chat to us about what we had done the previous day and helped us with plans for the current day. I cannot recommend Cuiri de Strata highly enough and would definitely stay here if I go back to Catania.

The hosts are exceptional in every way. A very warm welcome, flexible, helpful, genuinely kind and accommodating. Like being welcomed into the home of a friend. The building interior including bedrooms and common spaces are gorgeous, comfortable and clean. Beautiful balcony, gorgeous ceilings, floors, decor and ambiance. Would definitely stay again.

The location is really convenient to walk into town - 10 mins or so and you're in the heart of Old Town Catania. The room is really clean, the bed is really comfortable, and Alessandra and her husband were incredibly welcoming - offering help organising trips / transfers and giving advice!
