Hostel Overview

Situated on beautiful Cat Ba Island, The Oversleep Catba Hostel sits along Lan Ha Bay and is just a 10-minute walk from Cat Ba Market and steps from the ferry terminal. Rooms offer balconies with views of Cat Ba Bay or the city.
The hotel is situated about 200 metres from Hoang Long Bus Station and a 10-minute walk from the white sandy beaches of Cat Ba - Cat Co Beach 1, 2 and 3. Cat Ba National Park is a 30-minute drive away.
Modern rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV offering cable channels. A minibar and safety deposit box are provided. A bathrobe, slippers and toiletries are included.
Guests can make sightseeing arrangements to nearby fishing villages, organise shopping trips and hiking activities at the tour desk. Dry cleaning and laundry services are available. The hotel also has a 24-hour front desk.
Local Vietnamese cuisine and international dishes are served at the hotel’s restaurant.

Sparkling clean, smiling and helpful staff. Free beers at 7pm which makes it easy to talk to others while the hostel not being a party hostel. Pool cosy and clean so really perfect layout for a hostel.

First of all the location is great! As there is a major construction going on in what used to the the laguna, it's far enough so it won't bother you. On top of it, some of the most affordable, fairly priced and tasty restaurants like Yummy are around the corner. The 19:00-19:30 free beer is great and the space with pool is very cozy and has a nice vibe to it. Also, the lady at the reception was exceptional - she was always there (I hope she gets enough rest), helped us with the laundry and the motorcycle - all was done in minutes. We are very grateful

My first great stay in Vietnam after a few placed that were average. Lovely room and comfy beds. Great shower as well. Location is perfect. Staff spoke perfectly english and when I arrived super early in the morning after a horrible night of travelling while I had food poisoning, I first slept in a dorm bed for a few hours. A life saver.

The shower was litteraly the best I’ve had in all my trip, bed was comfy too, and the scooter rental took only 5 mins! Also I had left my jacket at the hostel when I left to another town, the staff did something amazing and sent it to me the same day which was really appreciated so thank you ✨
