It’s location was amazing, nice and quiet from up high (we were on 7th floor). The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and always available.

It is a really new modern hotel, right in the center. The staff are really nice and they help you book a great one day cruise with their sister company (cat ba ventures)!

New Hotel. The room was perfect on the 10th floor. Extended my stay for 2 days. Breakfast is very enjoyable. The staff at the reception is very competent and always helping you and offering their service. Booked the Bay Tour with them and the tour was outstanding (boat, guide, program). Also booked my bus to Ninh Binh with them. Highly recommended. Just keep in mind they sell tours and it is not a Tourist Information. By far best hotel during my four weeks travel in northern Vietnam 🇻🇳

How wonderful is this place. It’s so quiet, the rooms are huge and very clean, beds really comfortable, the breakfasts are very delicious, but the best thing about this place is the staffs. They are exceptionally kind and helpful—truly the best we’ve encountered during our time in Vietnam. They really made us feel at home.

The hotel was stylish, clean, new and very comfortable. We can’t imagine staying anywhere else on Cat Ba. The owners have gone to great lengths to create a special boutique hotel. The staff was cheerful and efficient. The breakfast was delicious. The rooms have everything you need and the beds were very comfortable. The owner also has Cat Ba Ventures. We asked the hotel to organise our transfer from Hanoi, as well as the return transfer to Hai Phong airport. It was seamless. They also organised our one day boat tour with kayaking. Again, excellent.

Given that Cat Ba as a very touristy point, I tried to avoid big hotels. The Moon hotel is just perfect for my husband and I for our trip. Hotel is very comfortable, amazing design, friendly staff. The room has very great design with a huge bad and view on sea, very interesting bathroom design. In the room was clean and staff clean room every day. The beach is near by the hotel, it takes us 5 minutes to go to the beach. Also there are market where you can buy fruits cheaper, supermarket, a lot of cafe. Highly recommended for people who dislike corporate chains and big hotels.
