Resort Overview

A leisure stay in a beachfront accommodation awaits at The May Legend Catba, which is 500 metres from Cat Ba Town Centre. The resort boasts 2 outdoor swimming pools, an on-site dining option and private beach area on Bai Cat Co 1.
The May Legend Catba is a 10-minute car ride from Beo Port, which offers connections to Ha Long Bay. Cat Ba Main Port is 15 minutes away on foot, while Cat Ba National Park is 10 km from the resort.
Elegantly furnished in light beige with splashes of turmeric yellow from the fabrics, all rooms have air conditioning, hardwood floorings and views of the ocean. A seating area, personal safe and desk are featured. En suite bathroom in each room comes with a bathtub or shower facility, a hairdryer and shower facility.
Guests can pamper themselves with various spa treatments, or enjoy a dip in the hot tub at the day spa. Other facilities include a tennis court, games room and children's playground. Approachable staff can assist you with queries regarding bicycle rental, car hire and shuttle service.
Sea Shore Restaurant serves an array of Asian delights and Vietnamese specialities. Guests can unwind at Pirate Bar with choices of refreshing cocktails and drinks.

A very good resort, a little distance from city centre but very walkable. Good, helpful staff but need a google translator. Occupancy was low during our stay but the resort, especially the spa is very good standard

This has become our regular hotel for visits to Cat Ba. From the friendly staff to the fabulous facilities, it scores a 10 every visit. The pools, onsen, and gym are great additions. The breakfasts are varied and always tasty. The restaurant has a mix of Asian and Western food.

The location was great - a 9 minute walk to Cat Ba Town - and quiet. The views across Halong Bay were spectacular. The dining room staff were so attentive to our needs - it was almost personal service!

Amazing facilities, clean, newly renovated, wonderful spa/saunas, cool location, would stay again. They have done an amazing job cleaning up after the typhoon with only one nearby restaurant still under repair the whole place looks amazing

Great location right next to the beach. 2 large sized pools, one of which stays open till late night. So you can spend the day in the sea and then unwind in the pool.

It's newly renovated. Children love the slide and we love the new spa area. It's really great value for money! Amazing location with private beach, sharing with Flamingo Hotel next door.

We loved the location and the staff were nice. Such a shame that the typhoon had damaged some of the facilities, they are doing a great job at repairing the damage though.

We had a lovely relaxing stay here. The bedroom is spacious, there is a large pool with sun loungers, and easy access to the sea with comfortable covered couches to sit on afterwards and enjoy the view. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and they are happy to use Google Translate, which made communicating very smooth and easy. I liked that there were different coloured towels for the room, pool, and sea, as we were swimming multiple times a day. There is a security guard on the entrances to stop non guests entering, which meant it was very quiet and peaceful. It was a small walk into the town, or you could catch a buggy. There are plenty of food choices in the town as well as the hotel.
